About Angling for Youth Development

Angling for Youth Development is a voluntary charitable organisation (Charity No. SC028354) that provides its angling and educational programmes free of charge to young people, youth organisations, and local authorities.

Currently, we have over 100 volunteers, from all walks of life with different skills and qualifications working with us throughout Scotland donating their time and services to the communities in which they live and work.

Why do we do it?

To put something worthwhile back into our Sport, the environment, and our communities.

Some of our AFYD volunteers do not even fish!
